This is a milestone I’ll cherish forever… I was officially pinned as a Lamb and performed at my very first Frolic with @thelambsinc 🐑✨

The Lambs is America’s first professional theatrical club, founded in 1874, where generations of actors, writers, directors, and creatives have gathered to share stories, spark ideas, and celebrate the craft we love. To now be part of this living history, joining the ranks of so many legendary storytellers, is beyond humbling.

I’m so honored to join this legacy and excited to contribute my voice, energy, and passion to the next chapter.

I’ve met so many warm, talented members already, and I can’t wait to connect with even more fellow creatives!

Singers, Take Care of Your Voice! 🎤💖

Your voice is your instrument, and just like any instrument, it needs proper care to stay in top shape!

I wouldn’t have got through this gig without following these tips:

💧 Hydrate Like It’s Your Job – Your vocal cords need moisture! Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep them happy.

🚫 Ease Up on Caffeine & Alcohol – These can dry out your throat, which is the last thing you want before a big performance!

🗣️ Warm Up & Cool Down – Singing is a workout, and your voice needs a proper warm-up (and cool down) to prevent strain.

😴 Prioritize Rest – A tired body = a tired voice. Quality sleep is essential for vocal recovery!

🌬️ Breathe Smart – Support your sound with deep, diaphragmatic breaths to reduce tension and improve vocal control.

Believe me, I’ve been there.

I felt like if any of my energy went elsewhere I’d fail and failure was not an option. By the shutdowns in 2020 I was a burnt out actor in Manhattan, working hard and partying harder.

I was dabbling in self care but didn’t understand the huge impact it would have to fully commit to my own well-being every day and honestly I didn’t know I wasn’t supporting myself well until I hit rock bottom.

Life doesn’t have to be like that.

You can actually enjoy your life outside of the hustle and not feel guilty about it.

From the cast and crew being outstanding, loving, wonderful people dedicated to the craft, to the preview and Q&A at the local high school that doesn’t have an arts program, to chatting with an older man at the one bar on the outskirts of town who thought he was too old to see theatre… I have found and made beautiful connections with people. I hope that our work has inspired many to support the arts, never give up hope when the metaphorical clouds roll in and that they can continue this developing theatre community and connections for generations to come.

Creative expression brings me so much joy 🤍✨

Bringing Adelaide to life in Guys & Dolls with a modern feminist twist was a bit of a challenge. The once air headed, squeaky voiced, 2D 1950s woman was now robust with sass representing a bombshell who was a force to be reckoned with- but that doesn’t mean she didn’t face the same challenges all women do. For my ladies out there we have all felt the pressure of getting too old, ticking clock for kids, is he the one or is he wasting my time, can he change for me, will I live up to the expectations of my family, etc. 😓 This show explored all of that.

My biggest takeaway is life can take you for a wild ride and it’s important to stay true to who you are. Express yourself fully and truly, no matter how “annoying” other people think you are. Fill your life with things and people you love. Dance around with your girls and be silly. Let joy fill your heart any chance you can.

Getting the opportunity to play on stage again after 3 years of being away has filled my heart exponentially - like a breathe of fresh air after holding it under water for a little too long. So grateful to have made so many new friends and hope to continue creating with them 🤍

Earth Day 2023: How a plant based diet helped me lose weight, gain confidence and brought me back to me.

We are in an awe inspiring time with the boom of technology, sky scrapers, fast cars and CGI landscapes. While everything is moving so fast in our world, it’s important to remind ourselves how to ground back into who we innately are as humans.

We are animals of this Earth that require sunlight and water to live.

When was the last time you went outside and really took in a deep breath of fresh air?

Or nourished yourself with a clean, whole food, plant based meal that came straight from the source?

Our bodies are fueled best when we remember who our manufacturer is.

Unlike some of the food we see at the grocery store, we weren’t spit out of a factory and if you are really interested in eating to support your whole being, neither should your food source!

The gift that the Earth gives us daily is immeasurable and it’s not too late to connect with our human roots.

When I started eating plant based, my whole world changed.

Half of my plate was a beautiful array of colors provided from a local organic farmers market and overtime this choice left me with more of that good natural vitality that we all crave!

I know, we’ve all been told by an adult to “eat your vegetables!!” and of course scoffed at their demands.

My reframe is that I’m genuinely excited to …

✨fuel my body the way it’s designed to be fueled

✨get creative in the kitchen cooking/eating a rainbow of colorful veggies

✨reconnect with the natural energy and vitality this food has to offer

As for weight loss, when you give your body a break from processed food and allow it to heal, it will shed the extra weight without being the stressful main focus.

Just keep loving up on your body and the one that made all of this possible, Mother Earth.

Three lessons I learned in Costa Rica ✨

I learned so many things on my trip but if I had to boil it down to the top three…

1️⃣Raw venerability doesn’t make you weak, it actually magnifies your personal power tenfold.

2️⃣The universe is divinely dancing around us to create a reality we could’ve never imagined possible on our own.

3️⃣We are built to face our fears and capable to handle them in order to grow and get stronger.

We are all stronger together.

The power of one cannot compare to the strength we have as a collective.

I am so grateful for the women I met on this trip, for the many healers I’m lucky to surround myself with through my work and my many friends and family who support me through thick and thin.

Attempting to better understand myself and be seen by others without judgement on such a deep level has only sped up my transformation in ways I could’ve never imagined.

This year I’ve been thrown some of the biggest curve balls
between devastating loss and the shifts that follow..

My physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health have been tested…

Instead of retracting from it all, I’ve decided to put myself in the wonderful but scary face of the unknown.

Face my fears.

Follow my divine intuition.

And see what the universe has in store.

I have been navigating this new normal one step at a time.

My greatest takeaway is to

✨go with the flow

✨be authentic to every inch of who you are

✨lead with good intentions

We’re here to enjoy life fully and unapologetically.

And my journey starts now.

You are unique and so is your health journey!
Finding what works for you can be easier then you think. Follow these steps and in minutes you’ll have a better understanding of your needs.

• Write it down!
No matter the time of day, open a notebook and start writing your stream of consciousness down. Without judgement, set a 5minute timer and see what comes up. The mind works in mysterious ways and this is one awesome way of taking a peak inside the hood.

• Track your meals
By using an app or a good old piece of paper write down everything you eat in a day. Reflect on how each meal makes you feel, energetically, emotionally, etc.

•Close your eyes
Ask yourself, what am I grateful for? Then ask, what do I want more of? For example, I’m grateful for a good home cooked meal and I would like more meal prep to make sure I can keep up my gratitude attitude.

Before you grab for some diet culture hack that you hate, remember that you have all of the answers within.

Retrograde is over and there’s magic in the air ✨

I saw these flowers and had to get them.
Story time:
I grew up with the Disney princess glasses on
Like “when will my prince come save me”
Unfortunately reality hit as an adult
And the prince never showed
Not to say someone really great won’t come along
(Still holding some hope)
But I still looked for small tokens of love or acceptance from who I was dating.
I decided instead of waiting for tokens of love from them, I would give them to myself.
I saw these flowers and they sparked so much joy and are a constant reminder to myself that I am supported and loved.
This is your sign to find what brings your joy and happiness and surround yourself with love.
